A new service, added for 2025, is that I can transport your pet to the Vet practice, liaise on your behalf with the Vet about your pet's treatment, and return them to you after. This service is available to anyone who needs assistance getting their pet to their Vet, or who thinks they may struggle with any aspect of communicating with the practice staff, or treating/ nursing their pet after the consultation.
I am unable to transport clients, just the pet.

Veterinary nursing care and advice is unique to your pet. I will liaise with your Vet to ensure the best care plan is in place to aid your pet's comfort and recovery, from the first day they join your family to the last. If you do not see what you need listed above, please get in touch.

If you need help caring for your pet please get in touch as I am able to help with most cases.
As per the RCVS Code of Conduct, I will only take on work that I am competent to do.
This is not a diagnostic service and I cannot diagnose, operate or prescribe.
I will discuss all cases with the Veterinary Surgeon to ensure complete and thorough treatment and care of your pet.

Occasionally Veterinary treatment, and the associated nursing care does not go according to plan and your pet may need to have their treatment plan changed or be referred to another Veterinary professional for further investigation or treatment.
If you have concerns regarding a visit or communication, please email hello@nicolavetnurse.co.uk where I will endeavour to resolve your concern. If this is not resolved satisfactorily, please contact the RCVS complaints department.
The DVN Hub is a platform for Vets, RVNs and owners to connect and is not responsible for my actions however they welcome feedback on my conduct, positive or otherwise.
Charges for my services must be paid directly to me prior to or at the time of treatment and are separate to the services and treatment of and from your Vet.
